Wake County supports the Behavioral Health needs of our community by maintaining current systems of care, investing in new research & resources, and collaborating with capable people and organizations. The partnerships that comprise the county’s behavioral health system are as diverse as our residents and include:

All work to care for and improve the behavioral health of Wake County residents. With our shifting demographics and rapid growth, it’s no surprise that Wake’s behavioral health needs are increasing and changing, as well.
One key partnership is with Alliance Behavioral Healthcare, which manages all public mental health, developmental disability and substance abuse services in Wake County.
